Beautiful location, wonderful grounds and gardens and if you're lucky you can catch a glimpse of an ongrounds band playing music all whilst overlooking Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and the Botanic Gardens. An often overlooked treasure, highly recommended to visit.
Unfortunately closed due to the current health climate these gardens are immaculate, as it the house itself! Definitely recommend keeping an eye out for when the grounds and house are open again for tours via social media. This dive into history is something every NSW resident should get out and about to see!
Amazing well maintained building and gardens. A must see when visiting Sydney.
Went on the FREE tour of the Government House. Well worth the 45 minute tour. Its quite informative and helps you get a grasp of NSW history. A tour of the beautiful gardens is a must.
Beautiful building but not always open. Walk to Opera House need 20 mins.
Stonewall refurbishment with traditional techniques used and the original Rocks number to go back in place
Government House just above the Opera House in Sydney is an interesting piece of Sydney history. Great gardens and a very peaceful spot for a wander.
