I was genuinely impressed with the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art.nnThe exhibition absolutely delivered — no disappointment at all. The scale and quality of the installations were on another level, and it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into creating a truly immersive experience.nnStaff were friendly, approachable, and more than happy to have a chat, which added to the overall experience.nnThis is a world-class facility and easily one of the standout attractions in Brisbane. A must-visit.

GOMA is a great gallery, the exhibition we saw seperate entry cost to otherwise free gallery was also interactive. Decided to book the guided tour and, as informative as it was, the guide didn’t speak very loudly and was difficult at times to hear. Overall, a great visit!

Everytime I come to the GOMA I'm absolutely impressed.nThey have a great collection which they display really well, always interestingly curated.nThe pay for exhibition was well done.nnThe stand out work of this trip was Archie Moore's Kath and kin, it was mind blowing.nA very powerful piece that really made me reflect on how the colonial justice system has completely failed our indigenous brothers and sisters and how it is seemingly incapable of adjusting.nCan't recommend highly enough.

My son and I had a wonderful time at the kids tour of Olafur Eliasson's 'Presence' exhibition. It was awesome being able to enter the gallery before opening time and the tour was beautifully tailored towards kids, with an engaging host. The exhibition was a real sensory experience, great for busy bodies. We also enjoyed a coffee at the cafe while playing on the giant hose playground and were able to go back for more time at the exhibition afterwards because they gave us a passout. Every trip to the GoMA is a good time, but this was a really memorable experience and worth the admission.

This exhibit nudges you to hit pause, tune into your senses, and let your mind and body reset and recharge.nnLike a perfectly layered dish, it feeds your senses light, sound, space, and movement all come together in a feast for the soul. GOMA is meant to be savoured, not rushed, and by the river, it’s the perfect spot to escape the daily grind.nnLeft feeling grounded, inspired, and creatively nourished a gentle reminder to slow down and savour life. Highly recommend for a mindful moment.
