Many State's leading artists have belonged to this Society and have been very active both within the Society as artists and teachers, and outside the Society with their contribution to the development of art at state, national, and in some cases, international level.
The main role of the RQAS Inc. is to encourage and promote the cultivation and appreciation of the fine arts of painting, sculpture, architecture and the artistic crafts.
We aim to encourage the understanding and appreciation of art in all its forms among members and non-members with specific reference to activities, meetings and seminars designed educate and inform.
Our gallery is available to hire, and we run workshops and exibitions throughout the year.
