Good view. Friendly staff. Given the staff shortage in Melbourne, atm, service was prompt. Drinks were fresh and delicious. Prices were on point. View was enjoyable too. Only thing missing was fans to help ease the heat.
I went to this bar by myself quite early, 6:30ish. I was curious to see the view, even with the sunlight still going, the place has an amazing cool vibe. Small and cozy, love the fairy lights and the friendly service. I had the “Just right” cocktails which was super!! I’ll return for trying the other cocktails and appreciate the view during night time. Definitely would be mind blowing! Love it
THE VIEWS - OMG We visited Goldilocks on a very hot afternoon and it was quite early ish and boy were we in for a treat. The moment you walk up the few stairs leading into the bar you are instantly taken by the beauty of the fairy lights, open space and views that come from the fifth level the venue is at. They selection of cocktails is great and the staff are super happy to accommodate anything. Sadly the beer selection is a little limited. There is a good selection of wines. There is a small selection of nibbles there to get you going. Very nice staff, really welcoming and happy to accommodate.
Great little rooftop bar, gorgeous view of the city. Friendly staff good range of cocktails. Heaters & a retractable roof. Will definitely be back!
Had a great experience when we visited this place. Good service and nice place to have a deep talk. Not really order any drink or food just sweet potatoes chips and beer so couldn’t really give any reviews about the food or drinks. When we are there after finish with one chips we wanted more so we order more. We waited little bit longer and at the same time we also planning to go to different place. The man come to us but he said the order didn’t came through and he cleared the bill because of the mistake they make. We are still can’t believe because we just order beer and sweet potatoes chips. I would like to say thanks to who ever he is, that clear our bills. Will probably back again next time when I visit Melbourne again.
The first and last bar I’ve been to during my business trip in Melb 2022. The Espresso Martini is to die for! It’s a cozy rooftop bar with friendly staff. Make sure you come here early if you wanna find a seat because it’s a small bar! The bar line gets long too especially after work hours. Happy happy memories in this place. Wish I could go back soon!
Great rooftop bar to have some cocktails on a warm evening in melbourne. Staff are super friendly and great at giving recommendations. The vegan calamari tasted like the real thing, which was quite surprising, so yummy.
Went there last night with a group of mates. Was very pleasant. The view was amazing and the vibe was immaculate. Not overly packed like some bars, no one spilling drinks on each other or floor which i appreciate! Food be bussin hard, especially the veggie pancake thingy! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. On that note, special shout out to Hugh, his service was supremely. His table service was super timely and he was such a delight everytime he stopped by our table. He deserves a raise!!!
My go to bar! One of the best rooftop bars around Melbourne. Yes, it’s a little chilly especially in winter but it’s worth it if you’re rugged up, I do believe they also have heaters from memory. Located above Machi Machi, not only are they providing cute vibes, but their cocktails are so good. A must try is the “Too cold”, definitely won’t be disappointed.
A hidden bar in the heart of Melbourne with fantastic city views, great drinks and a range of Asian tapas. The space is cozy and intimate, and it’s not overly crowded like some bars, and there’s no one spilling drinks on you or the floor. My friends and I had an enjoyable time here! The food was surprisingly pretty good, and the drinks were fun and refreshing. The table service was excellent - the staff were lovely throughout the night, frequently coming by to check if we needed anything. We tried: - Beer battered fries [$8.50] - regular fries, can’t fault - Vege spring rolls [$9] - delicious! I wanted to order more - Shanghai pork soup dumplings [$14] - juicy xiao long baos! Not something you’ll usually find at a rooftop bar - Chicken & prawn dumplings [$12] - the skin was too thick! As soon as we bit into them, they stuck to our gums lol the filling was nice though Drinks: - Too cold - Baxters Vodka, Aubrey Watermelon, Mint, Lemon [$24] - comes with a fun watermelon popsicle - Mumma Bear - Rooster Rojo Tequila, Pineapple, Agave, Falernum [$22] - good balance of pineapple and tequila, yum! A nice chill spot for drinks and nibbles! I'll definitely be back with my friends. Follow me on Insta or Tiktok @evelineeats for more food reviews
