Wow. The food is mind-blowing. Absolutely unreal. I want to go back and try the rest of the menu. Highly recommend checking out this hidden gem. If you go, you've gotta try the grilled halloumi, it's to die for. Do yourself a favour and go suss this joint out.
This place is so unique and highly recommended A1 service, the staff is so friendly and welcoming and will explain to you exactly what each drink/cocktail is and give you good suggestions. I had an excellent time with my friends. And the drinks they have are very good quality and well prepared/presented The interior is so beautiful I don’t even have words to describe Don’t get too hyped on the food tho, nothing exceptional. Come here for good drinks and great vibes.
A fun, city Bar showcasing African inspired grazing plates, cocktails and motifs. The only African dish that I am familiar with is the Injera - a sponge-like wrap. I had something similar at a Ethiopian restaurant. By itself, it is a bit tart. But if you roll pieces of the injera with the meat dishes, with some of the spiced oil, the whole combination sings. Several standout dish - the lamb ribs - char, melt-in-the-mouth, spiced chilli heat. The pumpkin pastillas with that bright green "pebre" fresh, chilli heat sauce is a winning combination.
Really delicious, different food. Had a set menu for 9 people with a mix of meat and vegetarian options which included the chocolate tart with fairy floss for dessert. Only room for improvement would be a bit more quantity
We only had an hour for a pre-theatre meal but these guys knocked it out of the park. Managed to get through the chef’s 5 plate tasting menu for both of us and the flavour were superb. Definitely coming back when we have a bit more time to enjoy properly.
Servers were friendly and pleasant, however they should have done more in explaining the size of the serving. Wasted at least half the ‘Feed me more’ menu we ordered. Portions were ridiculously large. We were served about 500g of meat with rice and veggies. Arrived about an hour early but still didn’t have time to finish all the food. Kitchen isn’t very good with their timing as they served an additional dish to the second course which didn’t fit and forced us to consumed it as they explained it would dry out. Nice tasting dishes, terribly planned meal. Would recommend that patrons get to choose what kind of new they are having so that they can be allocated the right amount of time for their reservation. Great cocktails and drinks though, so may just return for that.
It’s so first time to have “fusion cuisine of Australia and Africa “. Everything is so amazing for me! I got loved with African beers! phots are Kenyan beer, lamb rib, camel sausages, and chicken wings. So delicious!
Creative African fusion. Friendly staff and nice food. Me and my partner tried the African wheaty Phoenix beer and Dry Cider but I found it actually quite fruity , both are really good as the start of the night. We had the "FEED ME" as dinner, it comes 7 dishes of chef's choice. Our favorite is the Peri peri prawns, and the most unforgettable is the halloumi. Worth of trying if you have never experienced any African food. I reckon it's a nice place for friends or couples to grab beers or wine with some finger food. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Went for a couple of drinks, it was busy but not too crowded. Drink was recommended to us and it didnot disappoint. You could taste all the flavours, we ordered it again!
Good place to have pre-drinks around 9pm -12am before going out to the clubs. Was very disappointed with the cocktail I ordered their spin on a Pina Colada but the vodka and cranberry was alright make sure to ask for a short glass otherwise they put it in a tall glass and it’s just cranberry juice basically.
