Loooove the Hot chips here!! The Chinese food is nice and pricing is fair. I don't recommend the burgers though. The last burger I ordered from here was a pork burger which consisted of mainly lettuce stalk and 6 small pieces of pork.
I tried to order food over the phone and there was a bad connection, the lady on the phone told me to "get lost" when I tried to place an order, i work in retail myself and can absolutely say this was very unprofessional behavior. Following this I placed an order with a different place which had a far friendly staff that could hear me properly so maybe golden takeaways simply either has a bad connection or can't understand when I ask "large steak fried rice and chesse burger"
I bought Lemon Chicken for $14 & Pork Chowmein for $13 for my lunch on a lazy Saturday, good portion sizes. Depending on your appetite there's enough for dinner later, and even leftovers the next day.
We ordered the wonton noodle soup and sweet and sour pork. The wonton soup was completely flavourless veges were over cooked and soggy, wontons were also bland. Sweet and sour pork, pork was extremely chewy, batter was terrible.
Love going here been going here for 10 years! Love the takeaways always freshly cooked!
Our go to local Fish and Chips. Lovely people, yummy food! And they sell plants. So good! Always coming back for more. We get the usual everytime.

Great people! I love how they do my fish and my granddaughters have always loved their food! Phone ahead especially Thursday after 6pm on as there can be a queue. Great local!
