Been the same consistency with flavor for as long as I can remember. Good prices for your money when it comes to flavor and portions compared to many others.
Absolutely delicious , got a fish meal 4 pieces of fish, chips , salad and sauce for only $13 . Amazing value
Honestly if you love combination Fried Rice or Combination Chowmein & steak burgers with fried onion look no further the prices are good the Large Portion sized containers they get served in even better. We are regulars so the staff are always amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough :

We have been using their take away service for the past 17 years. Absolutely amazing Chicken chowmein and Egg Foo young. Past 17 years they have not altered the taste or quantity, though the price has gone up by couple of $$. Would recommend this place for Chinese takeout. Would
Ordered a fish burger and a $6 pack. The fish in my burger was hard and chewy, and got stuck in my tooth at almost every bite. Was not good I didn't finishthe burger, pack was ok but the fish was the same again chewy, the chips had the realized fatty dripping or lard taste once the chips got cold, the lady was nice and polite but the fish was not good, it was like it was cooked prior and then re-fried again. The lady who works/owns the shop was probably the highlight. Sorry I won't be going back.
Had the Chicken Fried Soft Noodle, Wontons and chips. Very delicious. Well cooked and not oily like most. Went at 10pm. There were 2 other people and our food was cooked fast and didn't have to wait long. Thank goodness there was something good open late as I was craving Asian cuisine. Definitely want to try more dishes!
Best smorgasbord in Auckland. So consistently tasty!
Golden Sun Serves generously amazing amounts of food, quality is phenomenal and the service is quick and convenient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 10/10
