If you're planning on making a takeaway order then make sure you check your order before leaving the restaurant. I ordered three dishes: a mixed vegetable dish, ma po tofu and vegetarian fried rice without egg. The chef went ahead and added the egg to my fries rice. The ma po tofu was a disappointment. It was closer to tofu with mixed vegetables in black bean sauce with chilli than the typical favourite from Sichuan province of tofu set in a spicy sauce based on douban 豆瓣 and douchi 豆豉. The mixed vegetable dish was fine. While I waited for my order to be prepared a bus load of Asian tourists entered the restaurant. If you're planning on a peaceful lunch then I'd recommend a different venue because this group were loud and seemed to take over the place. I visited on Sunday at 12:30 pm.

Well, have never walked into a restaurant and been totally ignored.. Especially when we were the only customers. Gave them 20 minutes and waved them goodbye. Their stupidity and their loss. Never again.

we had take away, service was acceptable as was the food. for a saturday night I would expect this place to be busier, ie more than one table. interior in serious need of a freshen up

The food was hot, and ready when i was told it would be, so 2 stars from me! Those are the only positives i can think of, and im a positive person.

Food has always been good. Outdated decor and more popular as a take away rather than dine in. Could do well with a modern look.
