This was a really good meal and ambiance. We ordered the steak sandwich, calamari salad and rocket salad. All superb. The only reason I gave 4 stars for service instead of 5 was because once the meals were served no one came over after 5 minutes to check our meals were all ok. I sort of expect that at a restaurant that is definitely upmarket. Subsequently one of my group waited until the staff were clearing away the plates to ask for some tomato sauce to go with their fries.
This place really knows how to use herbs and spices. Each of our dishes were beautifully balanced. Everyone walked away saying they loved the tastiness of their meal. Most of us got the burger or steak sandwich, simple meals but the spices elevated them. The place was clean, and tidy, with a very elegant atmosphere. It was warm and inviting and you could chat and hear each other without an issue.
We visited Babil for a family lunch on Mother’s Day and we could not be happier. The food was absolutely delicious. Abir, our chef, prepared special sautéed king prawns for mum as her favourite. We had the Trio of dips, Manti, Calamari, Salmon, Mix Grilled Platter and Lamb Shank. We enjoyed every bit of it. Abir, along with the owner and the rest of their team, made sure we were looked after from the start till the end. Overall, we spent a lovely afternoon, tasting the warmth and love of Turkish cuisine. Highly recommend this place.
Amazing food! The serving sizes are definitely worth the price. Service was great with kind and attentive staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend for those who want great service, food and want to land into a food coma afterwards :
We popped in on Mother's Day ordering sauteed creamy scallops and kid's chicken shish. Creamy scallops were really good; chicken shish was very well made with juicy chicken and quality chips but was way way too spicy for kids.nEven my wife who loves spicy found it too hot.nLeaving five stars because it was a good meal but I hope they will indicate in the menu that this is a spicy dish especially it being a kids meal
