Fish and chips were amazing, my husband had a steak burger which was good but the plain burger wasn't very nice at all.Food: 3/5

We had the most beautifully cooked fish. Tried blue cod which was coated in fresh thin and crispy batter. I think this was $7.90 which is ok for the standard of fish. The hoki was beautifully cooked too. Very fresh and had the thin crispy batter too. Chips were good and someone else tried the onion sausage they said they had had better but it was ok. When back in Alexandra I would go back for the fish 10/10.

Worst burgers and fish and chips me and my family have ever had wasn't eatible

Absolutely disgusting!  Highly and strongly do not recommend. I'd rather go hungry than eat from this place

I got a feed from here is was bloody great,im from dunedin,iv tryed most chippy shops,, but the cobweb has been the best out of all of them,ill be back one day..keep it up

This is the second time we have stopped here in the last 5 months and won't be returning, both times equally disappointing, If I could leave no star I would.  Tonight we ordered 2 parcels I specifically asked for sauce on the hotdog and $3 and other $4 chips, the hotdog came with no sauce, both lots of chips were able to fit in palm of hand, they looked ok but the inside was hard and raw..... Waste of money

True- best fish and chips in the South Island. Very kind and skilled staff. Delicious food and really nice crispness to the fish. Only thing I can say stay away from is the sweet and sour sauce. It is bad quality and just looks like pink artificial tasting goop. I’m sure they could make their own and it’d be delicious. Thanks team!

Burgers are the best I've tasted. Delicious. Fish & chips are nicely cooked too but way too much batter on fish. Owners and others are very friendly. Lovely peope. Will be back
