A long standing Indian takeaway in Mosgiel. We have tried them a few times and if you happen to like their style of cooking, you will enjoy this place. Very consistent in their tastes and quality. Very generous portions for what they charged for the dinners. We personally do not enjoy creamy and sweetened curries, however, the daal and the palak paneer we ordered were not too bad. The cheese naan was the highlight, crispy and with a decent filling of cheese it was yumm.
Best Indian takeaways in Mosgiel. It's a massive portion you can get with cheap price and good taste. You can also dine in at the restaurant. The staffs are friendly and provides excellent services. My favourite curry is Prawn Malabari and Chicken Vindaloo
Great food is a combination of good recipe and good execution. This place has the perfect balance of both. Bengoli Fish and Vegan Mutter Mushroom was great, while the Keema Naan just murders Esplanade pizza for only $4.50. Imagine an Indian-spiced silky tender slow-braised lamb ragu stuffed in crispy naan broiled in a tandoor, this thing is 4.8/5 dangerously delicious! It's inspiring to see family businesses investing lots of love and attention to detail in the food. Absolutely beautiful dishes!
Friendly staff very basic but comfortable tables more than made up for by the food. Would definitely go back Vegetarian options: Neither of us are vegetarians but I was so impressed by the selection I decided to try one and wasn’t disappointed
As an Indian and having moved from Auckland to Dunedin. I was worried about not finding a quality takeaway place. Food is fab, great authentic flavours, awesome portions. It’s my literally the best Indian I’ve found down here.
We've been going here for years. Always friendly and have the best tasting Indian food. Highly recommend you give it a try!
Good biryani, huge naan bread but everything else we have had is a wee bit too salty for us - will ask next time if they can reduce the salt in our meals
The chicken tikka entree is consistently delicious, moist, and generous in size. The owners are super lovely too. Chicken tikka masala is v good as is kadai paneer. They do a lunch special of any curry with rice smaller portions, naan and a drink for $13.50

Our ravourite restaurant ever for so many reasons!! The portions are big, the food is delicious but most of all the people who work there are beyond nice. They treat you like a guest and a really friendly people. Never had a bad experience!!
