Ordered takeaway from here on a Monday night because our regular was closed. Food was ready in twenty minutes as advised. The general quality, however, was pretty ordinary to very poor. Tom Kha Gai was easily the worst I have ever tasted though, that being said even the worst tom ka is going to be fairly palatable. Gaeng Panang was average coconut rice very dry. Pad Thai Chicken was apparrently OK. Beef with ginger and garlic beef was badly overcooked.

We came to the breakfast at 'the lazy monk' which it seems is the new name of a cafe here. The food was great The service was with a smile The meals were served fast They were a bit cheaper than the other breakfast cafe round the corner There was a great relaxed atmosphere here We had a great time. Order: Eggs benedict with smoked salmon Banana French Toast Hot chocolate in a mug

Golden Buddha is consistently good - the food, the service, the atmosphere. RJ and his team always go above and beyond to ensure our experience is top quality. And it’s an easy night out with the kids. My family and I (and the many guests we’ve brought here), love it!

Food is great but the owner lives in the clouds of being a star... not friendly staff reminded us like 4 times that they are BYO wine only, we had 2 beers that were open by the time they told us about it so we obviously didn't throw them away but they kept reminding us about their BYO strict laws. Having a cat that roams around makes me think on hygiene concerns. Also having a little dog free on the street gives a sense of irresponsibility. Prices are high and that, added to the above has killed my/our intention to come back.

Have been going to this restaurant with family for ten years - we have noticed over the few visits that prices have escalated the service has good backwards / the owner/manager seems to have developed a mighty attitude- the manager owner is obviously short sighted - as we won’t be returning- can’t complain about the food but the prices are way to high - we todat treid a different venue (food was better - service marvelous (no cats/dog hanging around) as we saved $35 dollars from the last bill we had at Golden Buddha- lesson for the manager at Golden Buddha - add up your loss on just this family - on average we have eaten at your restaurant at least 16 times a year - over the past ten years that equates to 160 times our average spend was $110 - that equates almost $18,000 - that number is what you have lost - times that by a say 20 families and that’s what putting up your prices - provide small meals has cost you almost $400,000 or $40,000 per year or $3,500 per month - in a market-place with entry restaurants - I have been ill advised to put your prices up - while your service as headed south and the meal size had decreased - food prices in brisbane across the board as decreased - wages haven’t increased - the onlly thing that you have done is to put prices up therefore your profit will be heading the same as your attitude
