I try not to shop anywhere but here for hardware. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and will spend plenty of time helping you if you need it. I sometimes come in to get specific sizes of wood cut for paintings, and it will only cost me less than $10, but despite the fact I’m hardly spending anything on those trips, the staff are still really happy to help and spend the time on it for me other bigger stores won’t!.
The staff are legitimately friendly and helpful !nnA good team works there. Genuine kindness. It felt like everyone was so happy for me to get my first tool set for work. Everyone went out of their way to help me, and I am so happy that this is the store I chose to purchase my new tools.
Fabulous first-time experience. Impressive customer service. Needed timber cut into shelves, plus supports to prevent bowing in the middle. Placed the order over the phone, and received excellent advice from Tait on materials. The shelves were cut and neatly packaged for our collection in a couple of hours, and we were taken directly to where we could buy those weird little shelf-support things that plug into holes and no one seems to know the name of. The Hectorville crew was amazing!
Recently visited to get some information on paints/kitchen cupboard upgrades and Meri went above and beyond helping me with the utmost patience, answered the numerous questions I had with incredibly helpful information. She really knows her stuff, is kind and took her time with me. She is an incredible asset to this store and they should probably give her a raise. :
Awesome service. Had a heater die on me a week after purchasing. Tate I hope, sorry if I got your name wrong called me as soon as he saw my email, organised a similar model and delivered with a cash refund for the price difference the next business day.
