The Gladstone Reef Hotel is conveniently situated on the corner Goondoon and Yarroon Streets, with spectacular views of Gladstone Harbour.

The Gladstone Reef Hotel features a gaming room, TAB, main bar, bistro and function venues available for hire.
Our award winning restaurant features a family friendly children's game room as well as harbour views available from the deck.

Industrie Nightclub is located on the lower level underneath the Gladstone Reef Hotel, doors open 8pm Friday & Saturday nights.

Our onsite bistro is conveniently open 7 days a week for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Good central basic place to stay for a night or two. Rooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable bed & fabulous water pressure in shower. Accommodation Reception staff were very attentive to any concerns I had. Check in and out was quick and easy. Car parking undercover was limited but I’d booked 5 rooms and we always seemed to find enough car parking even if it was in the open not undercover.nThe only thing I can mention as not optimal was that upon returning at 11pm to our accommodation on Friday night with my elderly parents after attending a wedding,, I parked in the undercover park which during the day, had lift access directly to the accommodation area, but there was a locked iron gate preventing access to the lift to the reception floor. There was a swipe lock but our room cards did not work to ops it. I had to get my elderly patents who have poor mobility to walk right around to the front of the hotel up a flight of stairs and a bit of a hill to the Accommodation main entrance. At 11pm, this was not helpful…also there were many young pub goers and groups wandering the streets making us feel vulnerable walking around to this area for 10 mins my parents are very slow.nOther than that, our stay was pleasant. Bistro was nice for dinner also.
Room small and basic with a terrible smell and aircon not working properly. Staff are pleasant and friendly with a young lady called PETA who was very good at her job . Unfortunately the meals we ordered were dreadful, with one being sent back and refund issued. The meal my husband had seen him on the toilet for the rest of our evening.
Location is on point with a couple of cafes and the yacht club in close walk. Otherwise a reasonable hotel but it feels like a pokie venue. Rooms were clean, hot shower, comfy bed but it's not the most interesting place in Gladstone and I was given a room over the parking lot despite being on a good rate. The gyms highly basic. It's ok as a 3 star but not great and not 4 star service. Sort of feels like an RSL so better than a small room motel but could be better for the money.
Excellent place to eat. Delicious well presented food. Welcoming, clean venue.
I recently had dinner at this venue and was disappointed at the service provided by Amber. While other staff were friendly and helpful, Amber was unpleasant, unhelpful and certainly not friendly. I hope this review is taken constructively as por attitude and service detracts from the excellent service provided by other staff
