Story

Gippsland Multicultural Services (GMS) was founded in 1984, and has a long history of excellence in service delivery to Gippsland's diverse community. We are a community based service managed for and by members of our multicultural community in collaboration with members of the business and service sector in the region. GMS provides services for our ageing migrants, newly arrived migrants and refugees, youth and community groups. We also provide a range of services to the wider community including professional development and training services. We receive grants and funding from government departments and private sector, and we are the key advocacy organisation, advising government and the wider sector on all issues of concern or relevance to Gippsland's diverse communities.
