Genki Mart

I love this shop! So much fun to work out what is on the shelves. I always bring home something interesting. They sell Japanese liquor too, and soft drinks and an endless variety of foods. They have big bottles of kewpie, and soy sauce and lots of fabulous and amazing food items. I just recently bought sardines in soy sauce, and a packet of savoury custard powder I think!. Sometimes I'm not even sure what I've brought home, but it's fun to find out. Recommended for a bit of fun and for being one of the places you can buy Japanese items that you probably can't get anywhere else in Brisbane.

Store packed with lots of very interesting foods and implements. The only thing that would have helped is more signs in English so I could know what they were. The person behind the counter was very welcoming. We were looking for seaweed and we found 3 different options.

Awesome store for all your Japanese and Asian necessities. The owners are absolutely lovely and the variety of goods is great! Lovely store!

This place is awesome for Japanese groceries. If you can't get it here then you going to Japan. Sells Japanese beer too.
