Amazing service!! Was a busy Saturday afternoon when I took my twin girls in to try on formal dresses, for the first time! The staff were so lovely, even though they were busy, they took the time to explain everything and make us feel welcome! The girls were able to try on as many dresses as they liked, and the system for the dress queue ran perfectly! The atmosphere amongst the girls trying on dresses, and the parents watching, was friendly, encouraging and fun!! Well done to the staff at A Formal Affair!!

Stunning dresses! The wonderful ladies were exceptional helpful with my daughter in helping her select her semi formal dress. The prices of reasonable and they allow you to try and as many dresses as required. Exceptionally impressed with the dress selection and attention to detail!

I had an amazing experience at a formal affair, all the staff were really helpful and provided excellent suggestions. They enthusiastically helped lace up and arrange the dresses so they appeared flattering, and sought out dresses that suited my personal taste. Their patience and dedication to quality customer service was really exemplary! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to buy a semi formal or formal dress.

Morgan and the team are fantastic at AFA!! I needed a gown for a Beauty Competition and right from my first consultation the ladies were passionate about what they do, giving helpful advice and feedback on the dresses and super generous with their time as I tried on a few. A Formal Affair has a lot of dresses ranging from petite to plus size and every colour in the rainbow. Finding a dress I liked was easier for that reason. They also have a lot of gowns suited to tall people I am 6 foot and had a lot of options. I would say if you are looking for a dress that you are likely to feel MAGNIFICENT in, go straight to A Formal Affair in Alderly. They have a bridal sister store in Chermside too. Thank you again AFA team!!

Very friendly and professional staff, with great advice and help. Lots of dresses and many styles to choose from. Welcome to try on as many dresses as you're interested in. Even when very busy the staff very helpful. They also have a great try-on system.
