Story

One of the most beautiful and dazzling stones in the world, the diamond is loved by almost every woman. So in 1898 when, together with his wife Lillian, George William Cox opened his first store in Hindley Street, his vision was to create an outlet where woman could experience the sparkling beauty that is the diamond.

Still owned and operated by the Cox Family today, G.W. Cox is Adelaide’s oldest family jeweller and acknowledges that not only are today’s customers more sophisticated, but their tastes have become more individualised.
