Went on a Sunday lunch time and it was quiet. The lady waiter was not friendly, it made us feel like she didnt want us there. Another lady who brought out our foods were friendly though. The place has nice decorations and music, but would have been much better with more people, it was just a bit quiet with not many customers. The foods came with beautiful appearance, especially their fish and chips, came on a big wooden board and their salad looks pretty! The fish and chips tasted pretty good. Their homemade chips were nice. Unfortunately the calamari with salad whilst looked well marinated, actually tasted quite bland. It was cooked really well though, just the right texture. And salad that came with it whilst also look like it is made of nice ingredients, again lack of flavour, just need dressings. The oysters were nice and fresh.

Great atmosphere here with a boat-themed ambiance! The staff here is super friendly and attentive to clients. I had calamari  fresh, yum, but a bit too salty, salmon croquettes  more of a potato filling than fresh salmon , and Fish and chips  not as good, dry and not much fish; sorry if I’m being honest. I also had Dark Cider and house wine, with good price. Overall, I would still experience here for once but probably won’t highly recommend if there are other options.

Absolutely delicious! We had the fish of the day - gurnard and the rockling as well as the very yummy Woo Woo cocktail of course. Food was to die for and the service was wonderful. A beautiful and serene setting to enjoy the wonderful food. Definitely a spot to book when in Lakes!

My wife and I had dinner here and enjoyed immensely, the atmosphere was great, the ladies working there offered fantastic service and maturity old fashioned service that says they care.  For instance a couple were sitting near us and as they were near a bigger table that was about to arrive, they suggested a more appropriate “private” table.  The food was fresh and tasty and the specials blackboard  being brought to the table was a nice touch.
