Extremely rude owner. Extremely bad quality of food I purchased food on 10/3/18 what I received was overcooked burnt and bruised. Good if you could call it that. I rang the owner explained the food he advised come down we will work something out. I returned to the shop, the man snatched the bag from my hand through it on the table then ripped the paper open, Once open he looked at me and yelled and I mean yelled, WHERE ARE THE BURNT CHIPS, I said excuse me? He again yelled, you said all the chips were burnt so where are they WHERE ARE THE BURNT CHIPS. In astonishment I started to pull out all the burnt chips and said here these are not edible and neither are the potato cakes again yelled at me where are the burnt chips, I replied pardon me I am a paying customer this food is inedible I have brought it back to you and you are yelling at me are you for real? He replied by yelling to me DON'T SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT.. at this point I am absolutely gob smacked! I throw his cold soggy burnt food in his face, he calls me a pig! I turn to walk away he rushed up behind me and yelled get out you pig.. I turned and said to him I don't wish to be here anyway and your and extremely rude man. There were other patrons in the store seated at the tables who witnessed this plus the 2 males that were working that night. I left a review on the Facebook page the review section was removed within a couple of hours. The owner of this shop is the RUDEST RUDEST MAN I have ever encountered as a customer. I am local to the town also,. I can not tell you enough, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY from WILD CATCH fish & Chips Lakes Entrance I took photos of the food, if I could post them i would!!

Very friendly and helpful staff - they helped us work out servings for us and our 6 children. I usually don't go much for fish and chips as I don't like the greasy taste. However, the fish was the best I've had - not greasy at all. Fish and chips were generous size and the prices were reasonable. The shop is very clean and nicely decorated. You can tell that the owners take great pride in their business and try to please their customers. If I'm ever back down that way I know where I'll be eating!

"Freshest Fish" I come here twice a week and it is the best place. Food is the best quality and Service fantastic. They really know their fish and you can really taste that it has never been frozen. Finally a business that's takes advantage of the abundance of fresh fish available and passing it straight to the customers.

The Potato Cakes, Dim Sims and Spring Rolls were delicious! Lovely people working there, will definitely go back during my stay here at Lakes Entrance!
