This pharmacy has been leaving their patient prescription folders open and unattended on the service desk exposing patient names, addresses, and medications to anyone stood nearby. This is a gross breach of patient confidentiality and the data privacy act under which all pharmacies are bound. When challenged about this, the staff claimed they had never been told not to do this.
I have lived in the area for years and always have a pleasant experience in store. Unfortunately today it was quite the opposite.. about to leave the shop and pay for my mothers medication I handed cash to the young clerk behind the counter.. moments after that I realised I was short and needed only 50cents from the car.. she hesitated and told me with a rude attitude that I have 4 minutes otherwise they will shut.. then after being made sprint out into the carpark I returned with the 50 cents, then was accused of stealing the money that I originally handed to her at the beginning of this miserable exchange of subtle rudeness from somebody who chooses to work with people.. after explaining that I was sure I did not take the money back and also offering to empty my pockets and even retrace my steps back to the car to see if I dropped it, she then said I only have two minutes to now go back to the car. I asked if she would count the till and she almost said no until she realised it was the end of the day and had to count it anyway.. After realising the money was in the cash register she was very apologetic but I honestly never want to be served by her again.
For 7 years I've been on 2 medication and had a week left of medication, since I'm isolated daily I was getting picked up for mothers day and was going away for 2 or 3 weeks where I wouldn't be in the area to pick up my medication. The male accused me of over dosing, asked me inappropriate questions that has nothing to do with him. He rearranged my medication prescription to suit him when I'm the one living in chronic pain daily, he is not my doctor. I had to cancel seeing my 4 kids and 9 grandchildren for mothers day. If I had my regular prescription I could of seen my family for mothers day and a break for 2 or 3 weeks from daily isolation of 7 years. The Toombal floods had stopped the toombal doctors from accessing the records the male doing my script ask why I didn't track my doctor down, how rude no doctors were working or able to get into the flood zone at the time of when I needed my prescription. I've had to deal with very rude people answering the phone, NOT in a friendly professional manner or tone of voice. I had nothing but problems from day one at this chemist, waiting for my prescription medication because of their fax or staff don't know where it is or look. I will never ever come back to this chemist to be treated nasty on the phone or be disrespected by the male doing my prescription accusing me of not tracking my doctor down and going to over dose even though I've been on my medication 7 years. Shame on him for interference on organising my medication when he's not a doctor and contacting my doctor to arrange a plan for me to pick up my medication fort nightly, when I've always picked up my scripts for 7 years. Now he's stopped the plan himself and said it's the doctors fault, when he's the one who contacted my doctor in the firsts place and without getting his facts right and the unfriendly phone service.
Great local pharmacy. Efficient. Fast. Helpful. Supportive. Big range. Competitive pricing. My local pharmacy and not bothering to look anywhere else.

I was recently served by Joye when I went in to refill a script for anxiety medication. Joye noticed I'd increased my dosage and pulled me aside to reassure me there was no shame in taking medication and she was happy that I was doing what was best for me. When there is still so much stigma around taking medication for our mental health, I cannot express my appreciation enough that Joye would take the time to say this to me and make it such a positive experience, it absolutely made my week. I have no doubt that she is equally as compassionate and caring with all of her other customers. What an absolute sweetheart.
Horrible service, I waited 30min for my script with only 2 people in the store. I wouldn't recommend going here.
I wanted to thank the wonderful Pharmacist, Joy from the Nundah Pharmacy. Recently my mother needed a Webster Pack while out of town. Joy went above and beyond to help us sort it out. She was incredibly kind and we are so grateful to her for her care and support.
Excellent staff and great service. As all pharmacies do, they get busy at times but you can clearly see the staff acting with a sense of urgency and compassion. They have helped me greatly over the years.
“FriendlyCare” pharmacy? Bit of a misnomer there! I understand pharmacists have tough calls to make sometimes. However, it is the DELIVERY of these comments that is important. If you have concerns, do you think they could be said with kindness and respect? Rather than with nastiness and treating you like dog poo on the bottom of their shoe? EVERYONE deserves respect and compassion. I left the store in tears. This is NOT a “Friendly” pharmacy, despite what the name tries to tell you. Drive the next suburb over to where people actually treat you like a human.
