I've been training at Freeway Sports since 1984 and in that time I've seen the gym continually being transformed into one of the best gyms in the state. With an extensive range of free weights and equipment for every possible exercise that you can do, you'll always be able train every muscle. Freeway Sports also has a swimming pool, sauna and spa for all your recovery, not to mention the variety of classes that are suitable for beginners to long time gym goers. With fantastic staff and a friendly atmosphere I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.
I wish I could put 0 zero. They’ve got a board outside advertising $5.95 per week but when u get inside to sign up, no such an option for u. You’ll see yourself paying $20 per week $40 per fortnight on 7 month contract. If one time your payment dishonoured, there will be $50 dishonoured fee while other gyms only $10. They’re mismanaged and really terrible, they find ways to get money out of you a lot more than you even imagined. I signed up for 7 month contract, when my contract concluded, they said I’ll still have 2 month left, after 2 month they said it again and asked management to call me but they never do. Now, they’re sending me an overdrawn fee of $250 with warnings. Gym environment is bad, roof in cardio area is too low and bathroom smells like hell. After hour use is terrible, you’ll see yourself in middle of workout in a dark environment can’t see anything, lights goes off automatically and they’re has to be big movement to turn back on. They’ll respond to this review but your choice if u wanna trust them. My personal opinion and experience and freedoms of speech regulations involved, this gym is terrible and money lover.
Been at this gym since august really love the gym , great people , the equipments are amazing , and it has everything you need . especially for boxing , I love the studio and I love the setups for it , and one of the favorite is the spa and sauna and pool , 10/10 really recommend this to everyone
Worst gym I have ever seen in my life. If you have any other option, please DO NOT go Freeway Gym. It is a TRAP that Fair trading should have investigated this ridiculous place. I believe all the members understand me, but of course not the owner. That is ok What the owner wrote below is definitely 100% right, because he is the one who made Australian Law. 5 Stars? As long as you believe
***can’t wait for the professional response from management.. just shows they cannot take on anyones feedback. This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star!!! They scam you into joining and pretend they accomodate to members but they don’t. I joined to use the upstairs area because it was more private and less people, which I communicated with Chris before signing up just to find out you can’t change the cable attachments, they locked them on. Spoke to Christian and he said we are not changing it because it’s for classes yet but the room is not closed off and has a sign that states put equipment back if you’re using it. Absolute clowns! Might as well put permanent weights on the squat rack as well and say sorry we can’t change it. Now I’m locked into a contract even though I signed up 5 days ago. Tell me what gym doesn’t allow you to change the cable attachments?? That’s not accomodating at all. They have always been dodgy and just money hungry. They don’t care about their members at all. Don’t get scammed people !
I wish I could give 0 stars. They tell you to sign you a contract without ever telling you about the terms and conditions or that they even exist in the first place to get you to sign and force you to pay when you try to leave. When I tried to cancel my membership they refused and took money before I was even in the system. Now they keeping bugging me about paying money or they will send me to debt collectors. They are dishonest when signing you. Don't come here this place is a total scam and someone should sue them for being this horrible
I’ve been training in this gym for the last few years and they have a lot of equipments and the staff are very nice. One of the best gyms
Great place to train but the downfall is their own debit system. I don’t know why it does this but I’ve been charged late fees many times when I’ve had money in my account. They will direct you to sort it with your bank but the issue is from their end. Very disappointing because this has happened more than once and I’ve wasted hours trying to sort this out and their reception team don’t even know how to help me.
The gym looks alot newer inside, has more machines then most gyms, has separate areas with free weights, a large area for boxing, different classes if that's your thing, a pool, sauna etc... Has a good family atmosphere with great staff and members of all ages, I've been going hear a year now and highly recommend to others.
They are very good customer service. Good Gym good facility good machine and a good environment to work in work out in I would 100% recommendthis Gym
