Great staff but a bit pricy

I bought an item on a strict timeline as it was before a long holiday, and was guaranteed that the item was ready for collection at their warehouse. When I called the warehouse to pick up the item, I was told "we call that a broken promise", and that the item is discontinued, but may potentially arrive with the next shipment. Mistakes happen, and I called the store to sort it out, but the staff were rude and incredible unhelpful. Absolutely shambolic, don't usually enjoy posting bad review, but when a company stuffs up, and further to that, doesn't try to FIX said stuff ups, they are not a company worth dealing with. It's easy to be happy with the service of a company when things go well, its when things don't that the quality of service is tested, Freedom furniture has failed catastrophically in this regard. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

This is a special shout out to staff member Rebecca who helped me over the phone on Saturday, she had amazing customer service - she was friendly, helpful and was able to get me a sofa modular ordered that I was after and had sold out. Before hand I had called two other stores before I tried Richmond Freedom, I called Moorabbin and Chadstone both of which the staff there were rude, unhelpful and weren't even able find what was (not only on their own web site) or their shared Freedom Data-Base ordering system that Rebecca had in frnt of her. She was able to sort out an e-mail quote and was able to find it quickly and sort out my queiry. Cheers Richmond Thank you Bec.

Purchased sheer curtains from this store about a month ago... I love them.. They feel great.. And customer service that day was over and beyond.. even giving me big bags to carry my ikea stuff in... So didnt need to do that.!
