Went here to pickup 2 of my orders for the second time on July 1st 2026 in the evening cause I believe most of the products are only available at this store. I was entertained by a middle-aged white woman and she was definitely not in the mood. I was very sure she has had enough of people that day. Not too blame her, but I was very sure she could do better. So I had 2 orders with three items each, and was expecting to receive all 6 items, but only realized that I have only 4 out of 6 items. I came in two days after and was entertained by this dark skinned late 20s middle easternian guy. I was told to give proof of unboxing, like pictures or videos that those two items were really missing. How do I expect to record or take a video each time I unbox the packaging. Or not, there was nothing that he could do. At the same time, why would a student living in an apartment all to himself need multiple pans and casseroles? Why would I lie to you guys? It is definitely the responsibility of the Kmart staff to be packing my orders carefully. I totally understand the procedure but I was just maybe wondering if those two items were at the back or maybe packed separately since they were big. Who knows? So yeah. At the end, I really appreciated the guy's effort to make sure that I go back home with those two items in hand.
My terrible experience.nI ordered a coffee table from K-Mart...nI never received a confirmation letter.nI called the complaint department 12 times, in the last few calls, they knew me perfectly, there was a lady there who always asked me the same questions and the last time she hung up on me... Finally after a long time they left a message and gave me the address of the place where I should pick up my product, of course I had paid for the delivery.nThe worst kind of service,nThe most horrible answering system,
Bought an item a week ago and realised it was the wrong size. I was never given a receipt or told I needed to keep one. Went back today simply to exchange it for a different size, and not only did they refuse, they actually accused me of not paying for it.nI even showed them the bank transaction as proof of purchase, but apparently that wasn’t enough because they “only accept their own receipt.” Absolutely ridiculous customer service.nAnd honestly, putting a kid in charge as the manager clearly shows in the way customers are treated.
This branch is located inside a shopping center - Victoria Gardens, instead of a standalone store. Great prices and options, though some common items weren't in stock. Parking can be free if you're only doing a short visit less than an hour from time of car park entry. There seems to be more staff here than the CBD store, but could be extras hired as it was close to XMAS shopping period when visited, and they were plenty helpful! Feels clean and tidy, easy to locate price check machines and most of them were working. Most items were located in intuitive isles. Easy to use self check out machines.
I have been shopping here probably 20years and I love the richmond store, half these reviews are in regards to not finding a specific product or things that arent related to this particular store. One of the few stores where I havent come across grumpy or lazy or ignorant staff and they are always friendly. If thus store got bigger it should definitely be the 24hr store on comparison to the staff at the campbelfield store or altona which I visit often.nTill next time, keep up the good work young staff always cheerful.
