The food is delicious but leans toward the savory side for my taste. The scrambled eggs are light, fluffy, and well-seasoned.nnThere are both indoor and outdoor seating options. However, the indoor area seems to have poor acoustics, causing sound to reverberate. It might get a bit noisy for conversations if you’re sitting inside.nnThe café offers a great selection of cakes, highly recommended by both the staff and many reviewers. However, since the portions were quite filling, we had to postpone trying the desserts for another visit.
Not too bad, made for a good stop for brunch on that side of town. The ruben had great flavour but needed dipping sauce, more sauerkraut, pastrami instead of ham. But the sauce flavour was great. The pulled beef pie was ok, good quality beef but missed a little punch. Pan cakes were just a little singed which my daughter wouldnt eat BUT the server was great and allowed us to swap it.
What a fantastic place to have a coffee & amazing cakes or lunch with friends.nGreat food, great location and good coffee.nMy only negative is that there is no table service, you choose from the menu and have to go up to the counter to order.nStaff are just lovely.
I ordered onlineuber eats this was my first mistake.nI paid $4 for this connoli, as you can see not even half the size of a real connoli. Taste was bland.nI paid $4.50 for the lemon meringue which fairly was called small but this....this was tiny! The whole thing was almost the size of half of my pointer finger...it was bite sized...and $4.50!! Arghhg. Taste wasnt bad.nAtleast the gingerbread was a good size for the price of $6.50!!.....but look at the state of it! Looks like it had a fight with a dishwasher. I really really wanted to like the gingerbread man person but it wasnt good : barely any taste. Too much flour and almost no ginger taste.nnYou guys are waaay over priced. And i get uber eats jack up the prices a bit but this is actually crazy. I really hope you guys improve in either flavour or price, if either did it might be worth it.
I went in for breakfast. We ordered Egg Benedict and smash avocado. Egg Benedict was delicious, however smashed avo was bit sour and chill over it some how not very combo. Not so impressive about it.nnDecent portion size.nnCoffee service was very good and food delivered time was very short. It was really impressive.nnGood ambience, relaxing place for morning.
