We ordered the 3 course menu. It comes with two starters, two sides and two mains. We enjoyed the variety and the creativity with taste. Not very impressed by the crispy pork but we love the steak one of the mains, very tender with char on the surface. The salad was a little too salty when served with other dishes, we prefer a salad with a sweeter tone ended up mixing the apple gravy from the crispy pork into the salad. Good atmosphere and service.
A pretty decent pick for dinner, lovely service. Our server recommended the Feed Me menu, which included three courses — a good mix of familiar & esoteric picks that we’d otherwise not order if not for the surprise menu. The steak was a little tough but still nice, and the entrees were definitely on the salty side; but the service really brings up the rating for me. I noted my food preferences and dislikes, and they were l careful to mention when a dish contained said elements. Water was constantly refilled, and the upbeat attitude of our waitress was lovely. The view of the harbour isn’t half bad either!
A great restaurant for celebrating my sister’s 18th! Perfect cigarettes on the ceiling to mark the occasion. paprika potatoes were superb. Not as many varieties with the menu as I was first expecting but service quick, food fair priced and friendly nonetheless. Would be surprised if we didn’t come back here again.
Lovely Argentinean restaurant near the piers. We ordered a hanger steak and the grilled chicken. The hanger steak was really good and came with chimmichurri and a spicy sauce while the grilled chicken could probably do with more spices or flavour. Overall, still a good experience and the service was very attentive.
Food is good but not great. Service is below par starting from the front counter staff to the wait staff. As noted by a few other reviewers - very condescending, unfriendly and rude to a certain extend. Definitely no tips for these people! What a shame to the Aussie warmth and hospitality experienced at so many other places costing a lot cheaper than them. Would not recommend!
Nice restaurant, a bit too loud! Food was great and portions very generous, however a bit expensive. If you like some spicy this is the place for you! There are different sauces coming with the plates which are very yummy : Must try the polenta sticks!! Suggest to book over the weekend if you want a table, if not there’s always space by the window which by night is quite nice, facing the port and all its lights. Service a bit slow.
I see now why this place was very highly rated and I'm glad we decided to try it. The atmosphere was great, the food even better. We had a steak, fried potatoes, and the lamb/beef with rice. The lamb/beef with rice was phenomenal and the potatoes were amazing. Would highly recommend and would return!Food: 5/5
Great location by the pier. Very modern, sleek decor with funky lighting. I was expecting the cuisine to be more authentically Argentine, but it was tasty enough, although we were never asked how we wanted the meat cooked and the portions were on the small side. The banana dessert was disappointing.
Fancy and upscale restaurant indeed, great views and very friendly service. Staff helped us pick the specials from the menu. The food was delicious everything we ordered tasted great. Perfect spot for a business meal or visiting with friends.
Excellent service and the food was good but not to the standard I expected. To start with we had the kingfish ceviche which was tender and delicious but not sure about the orange bits. Then we shared the octopus which was nice but not overly tender. Then we had the lamb shoulder slow cooked just ok and the scotch fillet steak which was a little tough to our liking. The fried potatoes were very good and the grilled zucchini had very little chorizo.
