Located beside Westfield Mall in the heart of Riccarton, the Fox & Ferret is a modern gastro pub, offering a wide selection of mouth watering light & main meals to suit all tastes, including the world famous Stonegrill menu, & legendary sharing platters.

We pride ourselves on offering some of the finest local & imported ales & serving them to the highest standards reflected by our BeerMaster accreditation.

service was lovely. the girls were awesome. very friendly and very easy in the eye. food was great. sport on the tv. bar is well stocked. what else do you want from a bar. very much a rugby bar that I am sure if a game was on you would enjoy the atmosphere. this is a great place that you will enjoy

Appears to be under new management and what an improvement! Steak was tender and juicy even cooked well done. Great variety of veges and the mash was creamy and delicious. Menu has many options and service was great. Definitely an massive improvement to how it used to be!

Love the stonegrill surf & turf..being able to cook your own steak to how you like it! Steak a bit tough. Prawns delicious as well as wedges. Great variety of veges. Fast, friendly service. Music a bit loud & overbearing. .but personal taste really..it is a pub after all! Like the comfy seats against the walls...but the wooden seats are uncomfortable. Phone & book the comfy ones!

Totally disappointed with this place. My friends and I went there for dinner and I couldn't be more disappointed. I ordered the salmon on a stone grill and I got served beef, so I said to the waitress it wasnt right and she started arguing with me and gave me terrible attitude. We asked if we could have one of the side dishes early as we had a little child with us, so he could eat early...well that didn't happen. We had treat me vouchers that they didn't accept. We showed them the emails and email vouchers and they said they weren't showing the number they needed, so we had to pay full price. The staff could have just looked it up. I don't think we will ever go back there or recommend it to anyone.

Had a lovely meal. Excellent service very friendly staff. They went the extra mile to ensure we had a good experience and I thoroughly recommend them. Thank you.
