We went here for a friends bday and the team took great care of us and even gave my friend a free bday dessert. Great service and amazing presentation of food!
Oyster fiesta.... fresh oyster from the sea of New Zealand. Plump and juicy and with many variations: natural oyster with lemon, oyster with gin and chopped cucumber, oyster with bloody mary and celery, oyster with white caviar and pink peppercorn, oyster with chorizo and parsley oil, oyster with chilli oil and lime caviar, oyster with raspberry vinegar and chive. Local west coast whitebait fish sauteed with chili garlic lemon and herbs and served on toasted sourdough. . Food : 5/5 Service : 4/5 Price : $$$$ Place : 4/5
Cosy place, magnificent decoration, excellent food, tasty, fresh, perfect cook, cheese platter just delicious, good choice of wine and sparkling, cocktail. Perfect service, take care of you and how is going. Definitely recommended

First class food and customer service. The price is up there but the meals are well worth the cost. The oysters can be served in a variety of tastes.

Lovely lunch. Only diners for an early lunch on a saturday. Loved the chicken skin in the butter for the bread. Husband loved the mussel and clam dish and. My market fish delicious. Great to be able to have a glass of champagne without buying the bottle. Lovely surroundings
Friendly and attentive staff. Oysters were deliciously fresh. The duck fat brioche was delicious but you could not taste the truffle in the butter - also a very heavy entree. The baked brie was lovely with the walnuts but the thin bread was so salty! Ceviche was fresh and delicious with a grapefruit bitter bite. Fish and pork belly were also beautiful. Crackling on the pork belly was too hard to cut into though - you need a steak knife. Overall would come back!
What a fabulous experience. Fantastic decor, staff, food. Was even better than we could imagine. It is our new number one fine dining restaurant in Christchurch. Well done to you all
