I went there as a birthday present with my friend and it was the first time for both of us. I am actually surprised that there are so many good reviews since we both didn’t enjoy the floating for different reasons, including the service and facilities. The music that is suppose to start the floating didn’t work in my capsule so I was worried about time while floating as I assumed that the music wouldn’t be triggered in the end too. My main concern was that the salty water burnt some sensitive parts of my body so I couldn’t relax at all (I know that they write that scratches can be irritated in the beginning but it was really too painful to bare) and had to shower several times to feel less burnt. The temperature was a bit too hot in the room and the water. After taking a shower, I felt like my hair and fingers smelling like stinky feet (I am very sensitive to smell though). Not sure how often the water is changed and where that smell came from. My friend, on her side, was excited about the floating to avoid feeling a back ache but said that it made her worse. I think the concept of floating might be a good experience in other conditions but I would probably prefer to spend the money on a massage to get relaxed.

I've been floating here for a while. I would happy recommend this place to anyone. Austin floats a lot himself and really understands the importance of a quality float and the practice of it.. He provides and Authentic experienced and is not going to charge a lot because of the novelty or because it looks cool, instead offer an attractive fair price to get you to return.

The idea of floating initially intimidated and intrigued me and I"m so glad I gave it a go @Forever Floating as the experience there has changed my life in a very positive way. I'm a pretty anxious person with a very stressful job and floating not only helps me to relax but to unpack difficult worries/problems; the solutions easily pop into my head, usually 20-30 minutes after leaving. The lack of stimulation in an overly-stimulated world is incredibly cathartic and calming. I love this spot! ! I've been going regularly to Forever Floating for the last year or so, after a recommendation from a friend to give floating a try. The cumulative effect of going once or twice a week builds fast and it's completely changed my life. Sometimes being in the tank can be jarring as I'm force to face things I've distracted myself from, but I breath easier and am better for addressing them. I sleep deeply and have crazy fun dreams for a day or two after each float as well. You will also absorb magnesium through the water which most folks in Aus are deficient in, and which will make you feel good and your skin silky smooth. I've actually frequently had people at work describe me as "glowing" the day after I go and I often schedule floats the night before big meetings or job interviews etc. when I need to be calm and collected I've since moved to the other side of the city, and there are closer float places but Forever Floating is still my favorite and also the least expensive. The facilities are great and Austin (the owner) is a really cool guy!

Lots of 5-star reviews here, and I'm sure they are legit, but I can't share those great experiences. I had to bail out of the tank early. Here's why. First, the good bits: the place is very clean and hygienic and the procedures are explained very clearly. Now the bad: my main problems were: high temperature; and noisy heart. This was my first experience of floating, but I settled down pretty quickly in the tank and got my head and neck comfortable; thought I was going to enjoy it, and had no probs with claustrophobia. But then I got hotter and hotter - don't know if it was the water temp or the air temp, but I could feel beads of sweat building up on my forehead. I opened the tank door a crack, floated again, then opened the door a bit more (3 or 4 cm). That solved the temperature problem, although now I didn't have that "closed-in" feeling any more. After a while, I became super conscious of my heart beating and the fact it was making little waves at every beat. I told myself - what do you expect? All your senses are reduced, so of course you'll be more aware of your internal body. But I just couldn't settle with that blasted thing beating away! In fact, it was making me more tense. I had no sense of stillness. The last straw was when I managed to get super-salty water in my eyes when I itched my nose. Ouch! That's when I got out of the tank, with 30 mins left to go. My experience should not be taken as a reflection on this business or on floating in general. It's just that floating does not suit everyone. It's obviously not for me, and I won't be trying it again!

These guys are so fantastic that they deserve a second review! They go absolutely above and beyond for their customers and are super accommodating. On top of that the facilities, which were always great, seem to be constantly getting better and better. I highly recommend for everyone to try floating and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Awesome!
