I love Florsheim and have been wearing Florsheim shows for over 40 years, this review is not a reflection on the company or a regular male staff member of the Robina Florsheim Store. I recently went to this store as I always buy from this store, to buy two pair of gents boots. The store had 3 to 4 customers and I was prepared to wait as I had picked the shoes I wanted and just needed them in a size UK8.5, simple. I was told by the lady on the counter who had noticed I was waiting that I would have to come back when she was less busy. I told her that's fine and I was prepared to wait, she insisted I leave and come back later! So I did, I had no intention of returning though. Later I was walking past the store again and it had two customers waiting so as I knew what I wanted I entered the shop. There was another lady serving this time. I waited 25 minutes to be served which I was fine with, so I continued to browse. Finally, my turn. I asked the lady on the counter how much the shoes were as they were discounted 40%. I didn't get an answer, instead I had a very confused lady serving me that grabbed the sample shoe and said she would get the other or new ones out back. I waited 5-10 minutes whilst she searched High and Low, she finally came out with a completely different colour, left the one I gave her out back and the shoes she presented were UK 7.5. OK so I am now seeing why everyone has to wait. Patiently I mentioned the colour and size I wanted weren't what she had, she looked at me puzzled, where are they she said! I reminded her that she took them out the back, so she toddled off again for 5 minutes and on her return asked me what was I after and what size. Meanwhile, other customers waiting in the shop were talking and laughing amongst themselves at this comedy of errors of what was feeling like a Faulty Towers episode. Half the customers had now walked out. On here return the confused sales woman told me they had no stock, I said to her I had given her the right hand shoe and the correct size, all I needed was it's mate. She was then completely confused and suggested she order them for me online. At this point I had lost all confidence in this lady and suggested I do this and buy them online. I still didn't get a price with the 40% off. I will go back but not if either of these female staff are in this store.
Have always had fantastic service and great quality footwear. Recently had a issue with some boots and the service was exactly the reason I'll keep going back. Thank you to the manager, highly recommend this store
Excellent personalised service. Nothing is a problem to the staff. I always shop at Florsheim.
