Beautiful island. The rooms no so fresh unless you book the expensive big ones with sea view. The resort wouldn't tell you the small rooms were badly designed and have no air circulation and every and each of them has musty / sewerage smell. Horrible if you have allergies. They moved us twice trying to find less musty room, explaining we should have booked the suite. Yes, the suites have windows on both sides of the building and they have proper circulation, but they cost twice as much per night...

Beautiful views. Resort was well maintained. But the service was terrible and definitely runs on island time. We asked what time the pool bar opened as we saw 10 am online. We were told maybe in one hour depending on resort numbers, making it 11:30. At that time we asked again at reception and were told sometime after 12:30.

Truly magical place to visit. Accommodation is good quality and very clean. General areas need maintenance attention particularly the gardens, pathways and bars. Pool needs work too....it appears grotty. Best thing is the wonderful snorkeling opportunity, we saw sea turtles every day!

the resort was lovely as it was on an island by it self. however the room had a very strong g damp scent that was hard to get rid of. Staff was very friendly and professional and the pool was very well looked after

A good getaway resort. Lacking some maintenance, and some rooms need a decent cleaning and airing out. Foxys Bar is the place to dine, although the buffet breakfast is good value if you get it included in your booking.Get yourself a good deal through Scoopon or similar, $399 a couple for 3 nights including buffet breakfast and transfers from Cairns.
