I have been going here for years. It has always been small but felt spacious and airy.nnBut recently they have moved in a pile of oversized machines removing functional floorspace and making walking around dangerous. I am not sure why this gym needs 5 bench presses and 2 seated rows. I have never seen it consistently busy enough to warrant this waste of space.nnAnd now, on the first level, they have moved an abs machine in and displaced the bikes, removing yet more floorspace.nnClearly the people making the decisions are not actual users of this gym.nnBring it back to what it was and 5/5.
Lovely staff members! I have been to around 5 gyms around northern beaches and this gym is by far my favourite. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it needs more stairmasters, a hip thrust machine and an abductor machine. Great gym otherwise.
The admin and personal training staff at FF Balgowlah are professional, friendly and caring.nI have been training to FF Balgowlah since it opened and can only provide positive feedback on my experiences at this great gymnI have used their personal trainers on specific training programs to one off physical queries and have found them exceptionally effective and skilled.nnSteven and Anne Low
Not a lot of variety of machines. Top floor smells like sweat. Old equipment. My recommendations would be to add hip thrust machine and more free weight area, also calf raises machines and seated fly, none of that exists here. Another gym full of empty treadmills and no variety of equipment. Only older FF I’ve seen apart from this one is Dee why
I love this gym! The staff are so friendly and the classes all have amazing trainers. Gabi helped me thoroughly with getting started on my membership and I love the vibe when I come into this gym. Love the layout too.
