Melissa is a friendly and motivated personal trainer that is flexible and extremely accommodating. She caters the training to your own personal needs and is so knowledgeable at what she does. It's never boring as every week you don't know what exercise you will be doing which stops you dreading whats coming next!! She offers friendly and informative advice on exercise and eating and as I don't like following a strict nutrition plan I was simply advised of small changes I could make to my original food diary and this really worked for me. After only 9 weeks I can see a huge difference in my before and after photos and can really see it in my clothes. I am delighted with my weight loss and measurements and have so much more energy and have changed from someone who hates exercise to someone who doesn't have enough days in the week for all the classes i want to join! Melissa also does boot camp classes Wednesdays and Saturdays which are great fun and again you never know what to expect as she changes the routine each week. They are great fun and challenging and you will feel so good in yourself after accomplishing the class!! I would recommend anyone considering getting a personal trainer to meet Melissa for a chat and give it a try and you won't be disappointed!!!

I would absolutely recommend fit healthy you personal training, Melissa is a great personal trainer and can adapt to suit people of all fitness levels. I have never been a "sporty" person as such but Melissa pushed me to achieve things I didn't think I was able to do. She varies every workout and session so you can never tell what's coming next! ( I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing ;-) ) but you can definitely see the results after only a few sessions. She also does bootcamps twice a week which are a great way to meet new people and improve fitness and strength. Melissa can also provide you with great healthy recipes and has a very good knowledge of how the body and different muscle groups work! Would definitely recommend Melissa as a personal trainer.

Mel is an incredible group fitness trainer. About a year ago I came to Fit Healthy You bootcamps twice a week with no idea about where to begin with improving my fitness. Months later I was seeing amazing results with my fitness and general health. Mel is such an encouraging trainer with a passion for her clients and seeing goals reached. With her help I was able to participate in my first fitness challence event 'Climb For Cancer' where my aim was to climb 37 floors worth of stairs (that's over 800 stairs) in under twenty minutes. Only with Fit Healthy You bootcamps was I able to smash my expectations and complete the event in under ten minutes. My success was not my own to claim and was only possible through the excellent and fun sessions at Roma Street parklands.

Hello! My name is Tanya and I’ve been training with Melissa for the past 18 months. When I started seeing Melissa, at the beginning of 2013, I had just moved to Brisbane. I had spent the previous year working out on a bridge construction site past Dalby. I had lived on ‘camp food’, worked 12 hour days (there was never time for exercise) and drank far too much alcohol with my crew members. I was tired of being overweight, unhappy, walking with my head down and envying other women who didn’t have a stomach that jiggled as they walked. I knew something had to change. I was over feeling sorry for myself and knew that I had to make a lifestyle change. When I first met Melissa I had 2 simple goals. I wanted to lose weight and be able to do a ‘man push up’. My long term goal was more daunting- to run 5km in under 30 minutes. Melissa just smiled at me, and said “No worries”. Since that meeting, I haven't looked back. Melissa had me completing my first man push up within 3 months of signing up. It was a momentous moment for me and motivated me to continue on my fitness path. With Melissa by my side, I completed the 5km Variety Santa Fun Run in December 2013. We finished the run in 28 minutes :) . Not only did this meet my long term goal, but it also saw me exercising in public, a feat I never thought possible. There are many things I am grateful to Melissa for. Thanks to her hard work, dedication and motivation- - I’ve lost many, many centimetres from around my body - My stomach doesn't jiggle as I walk any more - My arse looks amazing - I exercise in public and now regularly attend FitHealthyYou boot camps in the Roma St Parklands - I walk with my head held high - I completed the 5000 stair stomp challenge at the Gabba - I enjoy exercising- In fact, I am the proud owner of several kettlebells! Melissa is a fabulous personal trainer!!! She is supportive, dedicated and works with you to achieve your goals. She tailors programs to suit your needs, drives you to achieve more and pushes you past your own expectations. Thanks to Melissa, not only has my attitude to exercise changed, but my own perception of what I am capable of achieving has changed. I no longer fear the challenge, I embrace it.
