Had a really awesome dinner here yesterday. The location is great, good water views and the interior is very clean with good decorations. The waiters also good, wait times aren't too long. The food was easily 10/10, my lamb was perfect, tried the pork belly and salmon too which were also cooked perfectly. Portion sizes for mains are small (to be expected as its a fancy restaurant,) so good to order with sides, which were also great. Would go back for a special occasion.

Disappointing Experience at FISH - New Years Eve 2017 Early December I booked a table for NY Eve. The fine print said that 'menu may be subject to change'. The Friday before NY Eve (NY Eve falling on a Sunday) I received a phone call to say that there was a set menu, fixed price. Not only was fixed price more than what we anticipated spending, no menu was provided. We felt we had to cancel as no we felt that no consideration was going to be given to any dietary restrictions we may have. It was disappointing to receive such short notice of change when I had booked about a month in advance and no follow up compensation even after I received an email saying that it wasn't very clear on booking confirmation and that someone would be in touch. I received a fb message requesting my email (even though this detail had been provided) so that someone could get in touch with me to get details of this service provided. It is now 2 weeks after the event and there has been no follow up to get details which have actually been provided anyway. Other places on NY Eve were very clear about fixed price menu from start. Disappointing that reputable restaurants treat customers in this way. I can't give it a star rating due to this experience but have to in order to post a review.

Very poor and disgusting food!’ Yucks! I had the fresh fish - chef’s choice with white beans and bacon hokery... I almost threw up and didn’t finish my meal, my partner had salmon with cauliflower on the sides the taste is also ewww not fresh at all, we were so disappointed and just left... such a waste of money... will never ever come back!!!

The location is superb with great views across the harbour. The staff were very professional. But the steak was certainly not of the quality I would expect when paying $52.00 and certainly not of what I would expect at the Hilton
