Story

Bright Futures Family Day Care believes that there is a place for everyone at our service, that all are given the opportunities to strive for a brighter future. We maintain a flexible, warm, safe and caring environment that helps to support children’s learning and development by encouraging the children’s sense of belonging.
We support children and educators to have a strong belief in themselves and respect for their own abilities.
We provide ongoing professional development for our Educators and encourage further education for all.
At Bright Futures Family Day Care we strive in offering networking between families, children, educators, coordination unit staff all others at the service and the wider community to best meet the child’s needs.
We believe that all children deserve strength and support from all around them to enable them to grow to their fullest potential. Families, Service and Educators need to form strong bonds, to support the child to grow and to their develop their knowledge and interests to be the best they can be.
Bright Futures Family Day Care has a firm belief in the holistic approach to educating and caring for children. We believe families need the opportunities to be involved in the service decisions which affect their child’s wellbeing.
We believe in encouraging children to be proud and respectful of their culture and accepting and respectful of other cultures.
Bright Futures believes that good educators do not need to be fluent in English as many families choose their educators for their ability to keep their own culture alive as well as embracing all around them. Children benefit from a wide range of experiences, diverse languages is only one small part, it is about how the service and the educators promote communication and communicate with the children. How opportunities are given for the child to explore, discover and create. We believe that we need to identify the child’s individual needs, strengths and interest so that we can offer the most suitable program for their support.
