On 18 November at 8am i visited Fairfield chase medical centre with my 20 month old daughter. Her right shoulder was pulled during play and she was in a lot of pain. It could have been a fracture. I asked receptionist named Katrina to see a doctor as this is emergency. She advised my case is not an emergency and made me wait for 1 hour because there were 7 other patients in front of me while my 20 months old baby screamed in pain. My daughter and myself felt neglected by this receptionist and no care for patients or let children alone in emergency situation. I was appalled and left in tears to see my daughter in so much pain and having to wait for 1 hour. Finally i saw dr Allan who was professional and helpful and quickly got us to take a hand x ray. Dr Allan even said this should have been reported as emergency. Receptionist service is uncaring and rude.

Doctors are great but the receptionist don't treat patients very well. They are happy to chat to their colleagues first and keep you waiting instead of serving you. And it's true that they make you come back as much as possible this is my third visit just for a simple vaccination.

I've always had a positive experience when visiting this place. The receptionists were always well mannered, the doctors were compassionate and the wait time was usually between 15-30 minutes depending on the time of day. However, I've recently noticed a major influx of patients all arriving at the same time, causing long queues at the front (As noted by the previous reviewer) and making the service take longer. It's still a great medical centre nonetheless, but I'm not sure why it has received such a huge and sudden group of patients arriving at all hours of the day. Maybe they'll need to hire more receptionists and doctors this time to keep the flow from becoming an overcrowded mess.

I have not come across a worst medical centre as the receptionists are very rude and slow. The line was 10 people and they held everyone up and did not call for backup from another receptionists. Then she demanded a medicare card after coming to this centre numerous of times and have never been asked for one. Very rude service just like the previous comment; I wonder who managed to hire them. That put aside, the doctors just want to rush you out and make you sign on the dotted line so they get payed by medicare. For every patient they see in a day, the more money they earn. That speaks for itself

It's been 2 yrs I'm in Australia and was having trouble finding a good doctor. After being there I've got the best GPS. The service is very good and my doctor as well bekoz he is very caring and i always go there to see him Dr Yahyia except sometimes you have to wait for several hours. The receptionist there are very very very supportive and caring as well. They are doing a great job out there. A big thanks to Dr Yahyia for helping me out.🖒 ALL THE BEST
