Closed off to the public! Used to be able to fish all around it, now only very small section!

Tried calling their 1300 number to discuss a problem with their website, their automated system gives details for booking online and hangs up.nIt’s a pity that their website suggests they’re open till Thursday 15/1/2026 then next available is 30/1/2026, are they closed for a couple of weeks in the school holidays?

When I entered the room, it was clear that the theater hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was popcorn all over the floor, several seats were sticky, and there was trash left in cup holders from the previous showing. It was uncomfortable and gave the impression that cleanliness isn’t a priority.nnOn top of that, there was a group of people nearby who talked loudly throughout the movie and kept using their phones. I reported the issue to a staff member early on, but nothing was done, and the disruption continued for the rest of the film. It completely ruined the experience.nnI chose Gateway Cinemas expecting a clean, professional, and enjoyable environment, but unfortunately, this visit didn’t meet even the most basic expectations. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and I’d appreciate hearing how you plan to address these issues moving forward.

What is the point in buying tickets online if you still have to wait in the queue for 20 minutes to get a physical copy before you can get in?nnA good reminder why we don't bother going to the cinema very often...
