A reserve in the middle of a busy neighborhood? Yes, you can find this Essex Reserve in Ponsonby, easy to find and with some basic playground facilities. There are some seats and tables, so I wonder if during the week it gets busy with people enjoying their lunch on its grounds. Great little heaven to enjoy in a chaotic day.

The backyard of Mt Eden village is this Essex Reserve. There is an open area with seats and a playground plus a steel sculpture. It’s very popular with local young mums. It’s full of people during lunch breaks sitting here enjoy the sunny day with a sandwich or sushi bought from the village.

Really cool playground and nice wait for parents.
