Visited for brunch. I would say the food was alright and can be improved. Ordered a big breakfast and mocha. Really like the mocha. Big breakfast not so much especially with the price point. Bacon should be cooked a bit more and chorizo was a bit hard too, Matt be slice it a bit smaller. Eggs, mushroom and toast were fine. Would probably try other places if visiting this side of the town, as lots of food options here.
So much deliciousness on one plate. Great atmosphere, it was nice to sit up at the window and people watch. The lady that served us I think she could of been the owner had awesome customer service skills, we felt like we were in a different country! Thanks guys, keep up the good work we will be back when we re visit Melbourne!
A nice and busy Italian bistro, great for sitting on a bar table looking into the lane way! Big breakfast was sumptuous and I enjoyed my linguine marinara which had prawns, mussels and calamari in a napoli cream sauce which was tasty which just needed some spice or chilly.
Stumbled on this laneway for brunch and was surprised at the good quality of food in what looked like a competitive lane. I had the Spanish breakfast and it was excellent, great hot chocolate as well. The initial lady greeted us was great but the service girl seemed like she was in a Hurry to leave us each time she cane over with specials or to take our order. My colleague had the boccincini bruschetta and it looks very good also. Place is priced pretty well. Would eat again and if there was a half star would be 4.5.
Had breakfast here this morning and it was divine! Was a busy public holiday, every table was taken but we were seated and served promptly and food came out quickly! Absolutely delicious. I had the breakfast bruschetta and my partner has the French brioche toast. Both delicious! Thank you
Incredible service! Incredible energy.. and Incredible food! The staff were attentive and had an amazing energy about them, which makes all the difference when dining. Nothing was too hard. Strongly recommend this place for breakfast and must try the Breakfast Bruschetta w/ poached eggs!! Would come here day after day if I lived in Melbourne!
I used to love this place, but I wish I read the appalling reviews on here first before going back in. If I had a choice, this would be a zero star review. The owner/old lady needs to get basic customer service skills. Why give us a table if you had reserved it and then boot us out? We were rushed to order our meals, and also rushed to eat our food as soon as the food arrived! One of us had to take their toast in a napkin to eat outside the restaurant. The owner lady used to be nice, but obviously has issues now with the way she runs this joint! We definitely won't be back, and we won't be recommending anyone to go here for a meal. Food was tasteless and average, not what I remember it being like. The wait staff and barista were probably the upside of our time in the restaurant.
This has been one of my favourite people watching coffee spots for 7-8 years. Things had slowed due to Covid but just here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place is humming, a bit chaotic but that’s what I love about it.

Rude lady, wrong coffees, $3 for a babicino and 10% surcharge on a Saturday which isn't advertised. Oh and similar story to other ppl about the table being apparently reserved after we'd sat down already. Literally go anywhere else and I'm sure you'll have a better experience. Terrible
