Story

Eleven has a smart-casual dress policy that applies at all times:
- no singlets, thongs or high visibility wear
- during summer, dress shorts are allowed however NO CARGO OR BOARDSHORTS will be permitted
- Friday & Saturday nights gents must be in collared shirts (T-shirts with jackets are acceptable) & dress (leather) shoes. Ladies to be suitably attired
- No face or neck tattoos, unless covered

PLEASE NOTE OUR DRESS CODE IS STRICT FRIDAY AND SATURDAY EVENINGS. WE WILL BE MORE RELAXED ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON IN PARTICULAR, HOWEVER APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR MUST STILL BE WORN AT ALL TIMES - NO THONGS ARE ALLOWED.

My husband & I booked with Maya Mexican for a long overdue 'Date Night' on Sunday 1st September.nWe'd only ever been once before, many years ago. As expected, the food was STILL sensational, the staff were attentive, polite and welcoming. Our table had a nice view & it was so lovely getting to watch the sun go down over Brisbane City, sipping on some cocktails & enjoying delicious food. I went to Maya to celebrate my partner’s birthday, as he loves Mexican food.n- Place: The restaurant is beautiful, with lovely decoration and comfortable seats. The music was also great, as we were there before the DJ and loud music started.n- View: Although it is a rooftop restaurant, the view is not the best, buildings and car parks is what you will see from there.n- Food/Drinks: The “Pork Belly” and the “Fish Tacos” were delicious. We had the cocktails “Sinaloa” and “Sundance Kid”, they were perfect. One dish that I really disliked was the “Panacota” dessert, please do not waste your money, it’s just colorful ice with a bland peace of panacota underneath.n- Service: The service was unfortunately the biggest disappointment of the place, except for the hostess, who was polite and helpful. The waiters seemed to be bothered with our presence and every question or request were an issue.  A lot of people behind the bar and on the floor chatting but when we had to place an order or ask for the bill, we had to signal many different staff members until someone decides to help you out.

Unfortunately, quite an average experience. A bit disappointing for our special occasion. Greeted beautifully at the front desk a fabulous start to our experience!, but table and drink service was very casual. Waiters wearing sunglasses, sitting at tables and dancing with one another - great to see them happy and having fun, just not at the expense of timely or professional service especially when coupled with the value of dishes. Food had nice flavours and drinks were great.

Absolutely loved the entire experience I had. I celebrated my birthday and it couldn’t be better. The host got us a table in the shade as previously requested and I was kindly welcomed with a courtesy drink and birthday wishes.nThe food was absolutely divine my mushroom tacos had a flavour that I can’t describe and the drinks and service were also amazing.
