Story

Prohibition is a bar and nightclub that aspires to offer each patron an amazing and memorable experience. With three diverse and meticulously designed separate bar areas, there is a place for every patron to enjoy their night just as they would like to.

Our Blind Tiger speakeasy bar offers guests the true sense of stepping back in time; as the decor, the Prohibition era inspired cocktails and the live acoustic music transport you, whilst you relax into one of the beautifully upholstered Chesterfield lounges.

Adjacent to this bar, lies Wall St. This area is the epitome of luxury and boasts opulent pressed copper ceilings, lavish furnishings and a top tier selection of liquor, wines and champagnes for your drinking pleasure. We are pleased to announce that Wall St. is now accessible to the general public on Saturday evenings.

Once you have checked out the smaller bars, it is time to enter through the impressive wooden doors, into the world of Prohibitions' main bar, where the fusion of old time decor, furniture and fittings paired with ultra-modern lighting and sound elements, is a feast for the senses. Though the music is modern, fresh and high energy, the ode to the 20's is clear and the attraction to dance all night is magnetic! Both local and international Dj's alike are eager to play here, as the Funktion One system creates a crystal clear sound and the accompanying trumpeter or saxophonist give each song new life and another dimension. LED tubes above the dance floor are forever illuminating the crowd in the most enchanting way. VIP booths with bottle service (accommodating groups of up to 50 people) are accessible for that special occasion, or for those who wish to have the full Prohibition experience. There is also an abundance of seating for other patrons to be able to sit and enjoy their drink in between stints on the dance floor.

Further to this, there is the venues pièce de résistance; the women's only powder room is a place for escaping to indulge in some pampering, with the free services of both a makeup artist and a hair stylist. The perfect place to take that selfie, the crystal chandelier offers perfectly ambient lighting with the vibrant chaises and giant ornate mirrors as the gorgeous backdrop.
