Story

Founded in 1983 - The Beat Megaclub has seen Fortitude Valley grow and change into a fantastic Entertainment Precinct.

The Beat Megaclub is a Brisbane icon in the hospitality industry with professionally trained staff from all around the country, from all walks of life.

Our claim to fame is "Party 365" meaning you can party with us 365 days of the year.

We provide live entertainment every night at the venue, with performances by live Drag Acts & Live DJ's all night long.

how there is nothing less than an average of 5 stars for this iconic brisbane bar is beyond me. My fondest memories as a kid jumping around this club every weekend to the beats of Angus, Edwin & Kesson are times I will never forget. May The Beat never die!

Usually i love the beat, but went into a cubicle with a girlfriend to undo her playsuit so we could use the bathroom and a (male) worker opened the door and told us we couldn't be in the bathroom together. I get the need for security with substances etc, but once he saw me on the toilet with my pants around my ankles he just stood there yelling at us even though it was quite obvious we were using the toilet. Sorry but once you see a girl with her pants around her ankles you close the door and apologise, not continue to yell and stare at her for obviously PEEING! That's when you say 'sorry just one in the bathroom' and close the door, not hold the door open so everyone in the bathroom can see.

Ordered a drink sober. And after I paid for drinks (sailor jerry and coke + gin tonic) I was delivered a sailor and dry and gin tonic.... when i said to the bartender i ordered as above I was cut off.... for no reason other than asking for a sailor and coke.... Do not argue with the bartenders here... they are unjust... P.s they confiscated the drink i paid for. Which being a bartender prior to drinking here this is not okay.

Excellent venue, has a range of different dance floors within the premises. Great place to go to if your into the whole "clubbing schene". How ever, the security guard named "sonny" the indian guy, is really rude & disrespectful.He is also quite creepy to be around. So becareful when hes around!. I will highly reccomend this place to all ages of people!

Timeless Classic - Uniquely Fabulous - Oldest Niteclub in the country, always open, even through natural disasters, never closes early.
