Great Camp spot! Very helpful owners. Very clean and good amenities. Pay for showers but they were boiling hot exactly what we needed on a cold morning. You can purchase firewood as they have firepits for you. Camp kitchen was really good! Definitely a great spot to stay.
1st time camping here and we love it and definitely recommend coming to stay. Beautiful spot not far from shops if you forget anything. Mick and Lou are lovely, inviting and helpful as well. The kids loved swimming in the lake and tried a spot of fishing with no luck. Showers, toilets and camp kitchen are all fresh and clean.
Really nice spot. Site has beautiful flushing toilets and bathroom showers 1$ for 2 minutes. Nice big dam with fish. Fire wood supplied for a small cost 7.50$, or use the camp kitchen fire place with wood provided. Everything is catered for, great camp spot lovely care taker!
A great open camp site with lots of room. Good camp kitchen, open fires, and very clean toilets and showers. Close to town if you forget anything plus you can buy wood at the camp.
I liked the in the scrub type atmosphere..... showers and toilets cleaned every day... relatively quiet most of the time...sites over look the Waterhole......a wonderful array of birds..
Fantastic camp ground! We had so much fun playing in the dam, borrowed kayaks. So much space to camp. The owners are lovely! Bikes for kids to use. Short drive to several beaches! Firepots available.
Such a lovely place. It is very clean, comfy and beautiful scenery .Lou&Mick are very welcoming. I would definitely recommend!
Eldee is a quite large camp ground with a small lake in the middle. There is a shared kitchen and public toilets in the site. It's a nice spot but the owners are really rude and mean. We spent 2 days there but never gonna back again. There are couple of other camp sites around which worth a try.
Heaps of room. Dam with trout catch and release Toilets and shower facilities excellent. Fire pots, wood available to purchase. Wood and gas bbq. Easy short walks. Rustic realism in a wonderful setting.
Very easy going camp owners with a true heart. Mic and Lou made sure I had settled in and was comfortable when I arrived. The rate is very reasonable at $10/night/pax.... kids are cheaper. Facilities are above average and clean. Toilets are clean and smell nice. Showers are $1/2min... Best to save 1 coin to rinse if caught out... At night you can hear frogs in the pond and birds in the morning. Very family friendly site. Everyone who comes here seem civilised and seem respectful of other peoples space. Carlton Beach only 5 minute drive away is a fantastic surf beach and has loads of old classic charm. Carlton River is a delight to kayak and soak up the views. The current can be strong depending on the tides so take note if you plan to paddle far. Bring your own drinking water, otherwise be prepared to boil the tank water. There is a lot of sand in the grass due to being near the coast...I found that the sand is easy to drag into your tent if you don't wipe your feet. There are plenty of shade trees and picnic tables to share. There are also fire pots throughout the campsite and firewood can be purchased from the camp office if needed. I love the kitchen, the river not too faraway, the beach not too faraway and the people. Excellent campsite and well worth the stay.
