The closest camping ground to the neck. Plenty of space. Two toilets and a tap is present for water. It’s not drinking water so water has to be boiled before consumed. The sky comes to life being a ay from any city lights. Pets are not allowed. It’s popular with campers as the parking area at the neck can be packed always and it’s walkable distance to the Neck. Penguin spotting is a regular thing after dusk. The neck beach areas is quite nearby. This camping ground is not free, please check at the nearest information centre. Doesn’t have a campground manager. There is a shade and benches for people to cook and eat their food.

Beautiful sandy sunny lovely beach. Not too crowded generally but the beach goes for kilometres so if you want privacy it's easy to walk away from any other people. Camping areas are limited so arrive early. Very clean and tidy. Good, clean, and not smelly drop toilets (2 separate blocks). The fee is low but you do need a Tasmania Parks Pass on top of the nightly fee. No power for RVs.

Bit dusty if drivers are careless. Sites are well protected from wind. Enough shade. Loos ok, long drops, cleaned regularly, ok for accessible use Water available, "recommended to boil" Beach is a stunner! Kid friendly, with the usual care; tiny waves on our visit.
