Really nice little eatery located in a picturesque alley in Ponsonby.

Staff are very friendly, quick and provide great service.

Food is top notch and no ill can be said of it. Serving sizes are adequate to fill a hungry stomach and there are plenty of sides to accompany your meal.

The addition of approximate cooking times on the menu help steel your will for the wait of the meat and is a great feature.

Place has a nice vibe and itll definitely be one you will be returning to sooner rather than later.

Love this place! My favourite food ever, staff always friendly and did I mention the food is amazing! Ever single time I leave I’m 100% satisfied.. it would be great if they could upgrade to a larger place as it’s quite small and not always enough space but I don’t mind waiting as the food is so good!

The short rib was divine but the pork belly was tough and chewy.  The service was great but the mesclun salad needed a better dressing as it was swimming in oil and had no other flavour. Also the extra sauce tasted like parsley and lots of oil and it wasn't nice at all. If attention had been paid to the salads it would have complemented the meats but the salads were a complete distraction. Hoping it was just a bad day as I assume dressings are made fresh but perhaps someone should taste them before serving as i don't think salads should taste like grass and oil.

I can't begin to tell you how amazing the beef rib was. By far the best I've ever had, delicious. The steak was also great and the meat platter(?) is too however they've lost a star as the second time I went they had just run out of the beef rib and it wasn't even 8pm (sunday) and the chorizo in the meat platter was really just a thick sausage and tasted nothing like chorizo.

I have been there twice and  meat was cooked perfectly. Also there was a lot of meat for one person - it is good. The best meat restaurant in Auckland. Thanks
