Beautiful spot but tough to get a carpark but worth the walk from the side streets! Can be quite full like sardines at high tide but the turnover of people is busy so if there isn’t a spot at first, one will pop up! Lots of little fish so great for snorkelling too around the rocks. Sheltered by the trees if you like the shade but also plenty of sand for tanning. There is no current in the small bay too so feels super safe.
Burleigh Heads Beach is very relaxing, not so busy and nice park for everyone as well. Wether you want to soak in the sun or have a swim or just to hang around, it's the place to go.
My favourite beach since first moving to the GC over 20 years ago. Have to get there early for a park but there's nothinf better than walking the burleigh hill loop and ending up the beach for a swim.
Beautiful beach to go to! Enough shadow spaces as well. Deep and shallower water to swim in. Calm and super clear water, no waves.nYou can jump from the bridge too.
Such a beautiful place to visit. Weather was perfect,the locals are lovely,delicious food and heaps of gorgeous little boutique shops to explore.
