20+ minutes on hold. My enquiry was about 4 preorders that were released a week ago but head office didn't deliver to store for pick up but it's available to buy from nearby stores. Lady answered not friendly and was told there was a delay. Couldn't elaborate on that or tell me how much longer to wait. I was told that 3 items was delivered to my preferred store today. Why is it difficult for EB Games head office to inform the customer there's a delay. I understand delays can happen but no communication from EB makes me feel unvalued as a customer. I like to make this clear, the staff at my preferred store are great. This is a head office issue. I'm not frustrated about the delay. Frustrated about lack of communication from head office.

I went into Eb games in bankstown to buy Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. They didn't have it and the nice girl checked online and said they could have it sent from their warehouse or storage place to the store and they will call me when it arrives. I said yes send it so I paid for the game and last Friday they called me and told me the game was there. I picked up the box on Saturday. When I finally had time on Wednesday I open the game cover and it's not Resident Evil 7 disc it's two Final Fantasy VII remake discs still in a sleeve and just shoved into the side for the instruction books not even on the disc holder side. I've been trying to call EB games bankstown for the last two days with no answer. The box came from the Eagle Farm address and if the person sending the game had bothered to look at the cover and the disc they were shoving in there they would have seen that it's not the right game a ridiculously easy thing to do. This stuff keeps happening especially to people who buy online the whole point to buying online is because you don't have time to go in but these guys can't get your order right and can't even answer the phone so they waste your time even more by forcing you to go in to the store. I have so many friends that ask me about games and consoles and where they should buy it from I will not be sending them to Eb games anymore I'm recommending JB HiFi all day everyday at least they answer their phones and send you what you paid for.

i purchased a pre-owned PS5 game online from EB Games, waited 5 days for delivery, when i received what i thought would be the correct genre game i noticed they sent me a PS4 game instead, i rang the store the game came from and they told me to call Head Office, so Head Office arranged for a replacement game to be posted out to me from a different store mind you i received the second parcel 5 days later only to notice they had a PS4 disc version of the game in a PS5 cover......... this is becoming a joke, i'm over it. i have always liked EB Games for there simplicity of purchase, but it seems that the Employees in Stores just don't understand, the Customer wants what they paid for. I want the PS5 version of the game, not a PS4 substitute.

I'd really like to thank Stergos at HQ for being very thorough and helpful in helping to get a positive resolution on my PS5 controller stick drift that was just out of warranty. He listened, acknowledged and mapped out the process, and in the end, due to australian consumer guarantees that EB Games adhered to, got me a satisfactory outcome of a replacement controller. Thank you to him and the team for doing the right thing by their long term customer. Looking forward to my new controller arriving in the mail very soon.
