Bought a PS5 and controller mid Dec 2023.nController started to have left shift probs Oct 2024.nTried to fix it and sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't.nGot too bad, so brought it into EB Games Clifford Gardens, Toowoomba on 09/01/24 and as it was passed the 1 year warranty even though I said it started to cause issues before the warranty period expired and we were trying to fix it etc they didn't care and said to ring HO. I think this day and age most big companies and probs some smaller ones would honor the warranty if just out and customer has issues before, that's just good customer service. Now I can't get through to HO, ringing all the time, just no one answers then line goes dead, but looking at their reviews this is no surprise. Will keep trying and update here as I go. What should have happened is the store should have apologised which they didn't and just replaced with a new one and sent my faulty one back to HO to repair and sell again, but hey what do I know !nUPDATE - Just emailed and messaged on FB, see if that helps.

Someone at an EB games store local to me tried to help me with an issue with my EB games account but they made a mistake causing the issue to not get resolved so I called head office. It's a little hard getting through to them on the phone as the wait time I got told was 9 minutes but I waited for around 23-25 minutes to speak to someone. I spoke to someone to help me with my EB account and they helped me out with no issues. I did try contacting the head office on a separate day but 15 mins into the queue I would get hung up on. Thanks for solving my issue.

Bought a membership earlier this year - recently had a members only sale. Was stuck on trying to checkout but your website kept logging me out or removing my card and no longer available.nnWhat's the point when your website doesnt let me checkout a members only sale?

20+ minutes on hold. My enquiry was about 4 preorders that were released a week ago but head office didn't deliver to store for pick up but it's available to buy from nearby stores. Lady answered not friendly and was told there was a delay. Couldn't elaborate on that or tell me how much longer to wait. I was told that 3 items was delivered to my preferred store today. Why is it difficult for EB Games head office to inform the customer there's a delay. I understand delays can happen but no communication from EB makes me feel unvalued as a customer. I like to make this clear, the staff at my preferred store are great. This is a head office issue. I'm not frustrated about the delay. Frustrated about lack of communication from head office.

I went into Eb games in bankstown to buy Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. They didn't have it and the nice girl checked online and said they could have it sent from their warehouse or storage place to the store and they will call me when it arrives. I said yes send it so I paid for the game and last Friday they called me and told me the game was there. I picked up the box on Saturday. When I finally had time on Wednesday I open the game cover and it's not Resident Evil 7 disc it's two Final Fantasy VII remake discs still in a sleeve and just shoved into the side for the instruction books not even on the disc holder side. I've been trying to call EB games bankstown for the last two days with no answer. The box came from the Eagle Farm address and if the person sending the game had bothered to look at the cover and the disc they were shoving in there they would have seen that it's not the right game a ridiculously easy thing to do. This stuff keeps happening especially to people who buy online the whole point to buying online is because you don't have time to go in but these guys can't get your order right and can't even answer the phone so they waste your time even more by forcing you to go in to the store. I have so many friends that ask me about games and consoles and where they should buy it from I will not be sending them to Eb games anymore I'm recommending JB HiFi all day everyday at least they answer their phones and send you what you paid for.
