East Tamaki Healthcare - Dawson Road Clinic

I would give them zero rating. This place need to shut down immediately as they don’t know the value of time. We walked there as urgent care needed. Was told to wait as they said 7 people are there in the queue. Asked receptionist after waiting of 2 hours, still she said still 5 are there before us. Even though it was an emergency they do not care at all. After waiting 4 hours receptionist said still there is one more patient prior to us just to see the nurse and 11 patients are prior to see the doctor. We left after 4 and half hours without visiting anybody. Never coming back to this clinic and also don’t recommend to anyone to come here as this is waste of time with useless people.

What has happened to this medical Clinic? For over 20 years Pramod Galgali has been the most fantastic Dr. He is now semi retired and unfortunately with the take over of the clinic it has gone from excellent to rock bottom. I went there Saturday and was told Dr wouldnt see me for my 3 month check and would send the prescription to my chemist and text me. No text came Monday I rang and waited 15 minutes spoke to one of the staff prescription had not been sent. Was assured it was sent as we spoke. I went to pick it up it had not been sent. I called again was on hold 75 minutes and finally managed to get my prescription sent. My last visits to any Dr there have been pitiful to say the least. Totally uncaring and just want you out of the door. It is time to move on to a practice that cares about their patients.

I have been with this clinic for many years bringing an old patient of doc Diva & Galgali who are the most exceptional doctors ever. Through them there are truely not enough stars for me to give them Reception have been fantastic and yes I agree some of them did need training dealing with patient and their families as some their inexperience came shining thru. but a huge thank you to Leni who again I have had the opportunity to witness her upmost professionalism when dealing with any and all patients Waiting times here are ridiculous I am not to sure why they haven’t continued with appointments as they did introduce this during Covid? but now it’s just a walk in/ drop in medical centre? which unfortunately allows the longest waiting time ever. My biggest issue and concerns is their “CALL CENTRE “ who gives out information that has caused so much misunderstanding around how they relay information to patients.What a shambles I rang to their call centre on the 3rd October 2022 and after few attempts I finally got thru to a call centre person I asked if I could be transferred to Dawson Clinic which she asked what it related to I said to make an appointment to see a doctor she than said appointments are not required it’s a walk-in appointments which reply oh I didn’t know that thank you, I around here at Dawson clinic at around 4.30-4.45 to find out that they have closed if receiving patients at 1pm OML I was totally annoyed and did express this to the receptionist and explained why didn’t relay this info when I rang the call centre? she receptionist explained that they actually can see how many patients are waiting within this medical centre and should have been able to give me this information that they are not taking anymore people when I called them which tells me that this area of communication is at its very lowest! or even have this information on your website so that their are much more clearer directions. To the private management of this medical centre and ti the local doctors association/ ETHC can you all get sorted and look into areas of concerns and not so much about your PROFIT because honestly that’s what it looks like from a patient point of view. If changes need to happen within this medical centre then use this platform as a positive way of shaking up these private investors to care a little more to what’s happening within.

Minus star and pathetic service. Got message from this place in regards to my father in laws results and it's been 8 days now and since been listening to the music on the phone and have requested for a call back Neither has happened. I assume they don't have a receptionist and they don't care about the patients. They should be seriously be looked at.

Worst services! 5 hours wait time to see GP! And no one advices its gonna take that long! Zero reception service! They should atleast inform the patients about longer waiting hours! They don't even deserve one star i am not recommended

Worst service ever. for the last 4-5 years, we dont see improvement. they dont have sense of time and urgency. We adults can sometime tolerate waiting for hours but if we are talking about kids, we cannot afford to wait that long. Improve your service or shut it down.

Every local doctors has 3 to 6 hours wait to see a doctor for a 5 to 15 mins consult might need to change family doctors. I had a car accident qnd Dr Jayaraman was just really unempathetic. Not hearing me and my sister out of what we needed. Really disappointed of the GP here. Had to wait 6hours to see the doctor for only 5 to 10mins. Totally not worth the wait.

Worst experience every time have to wait 4 hours.When u enter they said me 13 patients in front of me.After 3 hours they said 5 patients again I waited for 30 min they again said 6 patients! instead of going there just stay home because they don’t bother about your sickness.

I've been coming to these doctors since I was 13 years old. The wait time is HORRENDOUS but you're only paying $10 On weekdays and $15 On the weekend so you have to ask yourself; Is that worth the wait? If you can spare $50 for a doctor's appointment where u You book in advance then you should do that. If you can't, then you're stuck waiting at Local Doctors. That's the truth. When I have issues that aren't urgent, I write them down and bombard the doctor when I HAVE to come for something more serious because waiting is not worth it. And when I do that it takes more than 15 minutes which is the Max time the doctor should take with a patient. I'm enrolling at Ormiston Medical/Healthgate which is also $15. The photo is of room H which they rarely use, I was showing symptoms of covid so was left alone.

If I could give a no star this is the place. Told about an hour wait. After an hour she said two hours. Then after that another two hours. Either these guys don’t know timing or they plain useless. Better off closing the place down. Needs a good restructuring, if you guys don’t do appointments call half an hour before so patients can go and come back. The system makes them five hours holding them back from their income. You guys need some sense smacked in to you
