Great shop for drummers, guitarists and electronic gear. The staff really know their music and are also great musicians. Will get stuff in if necessary and good feedback when waiting on delivery. I've used them a lot. Recently bought a 245 that's a great guitar. Had trouble with getting a case to fit but the guys at rockshop spent some time testing all their cases till they found one that worked. A shop I can spend a lot of time in just admiring the gear. I recommend a visit.
We were visiting from Australia and decided to drop by to get our fix of guitars and gear while on holiday. These guys were fantastic in accomodating us, making us feel welcome and were incredibly friendly. They had a great selection of instruments and gear at good prices as well. Would highly recommend checking out!

This weekend we bought our daughter a new guitar at the Rockshop. We were super impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who provided excellent service. We will definitely be back!

Best customer support I have gotten from any music shop. Very friendly and happy to help. I tried out couple of guitars, they weren't stingy to let me try, and they set them up ready to play. Staff also hyped me up after playing some riffs, without ever putting pressure on me to play well. Shame I live on north island, cause I loved this rockshop. Also greta range of guitars for all generes not just lots of strats, teles, les pauls but things like flying Vees, explorers, hollow bodys and jazz guitars.
I have to say that my experiences as a Rock Shop Dunedin customer have been excellent and exceeded my expectations. The team are always welcoming when you walk in the shop and offer advice and service above and beyond. Products not available in store? No problem - delivered to my door in days. Great stuff you guys!
There was an error in the colour of the drum kit I had ordered - while it was the distributor's error, Jacob and Jason were really understanding. They were sincere and sympathetic and more importantly came up with a very good solution. Great service. I'm now a customer for life.
Friendly guys, really helpful. Would recommend!
