Dumpling Plaza Chinese Restaurant

Delivered to our door after our first day of moving to Wonthaggi. Mongolian beef, steamed rice and a banana fritter. Fantastic. Based on this first experience this will become a favourite. Great friendly service too.

I’m confused about the hype?? Our food was really bland. The fried rice tasted plain so we had to add our own seasonings. We ordered honey chicken, but got lemon chicken. The lemon chicken was good though.

Ok unfortunately I can’t give this restaurant a very good review and now I will tell you why. I ordered SPECIAL FRIED RICE, but I got it home and it was steamed rice with carrot, a bit of egg and some other things that I think were supposed to be prawns. Fried rice is supposed to be fried not steamed rice. So now I will go back to my favourite Chinese restaurant in Inverloch which does a lovely FRIED Rice. I had to actually fry the rice myself when I got home. Hope you can improve you fried rice and it doesn’t take much to make proper fried rice.

By far the best dumplings in town. The seafood Nasi Goreng is the best I’ve ever had AND the prawn spring rolls, WOW! It is good! Well priced food and lovely staff. Eat in or take away. They are alway super quick with orders too, usually under 15 minutes from ordering take away. 10/10! A big YUM from me.

Lovely meal only three of us but each meal came out at different times. Service very friendly and price good. Will be back.Food: 4/5

Very good tasty....good service...I called and booked a table and ordered Singapore noodles, vegatarian fried Rice which was taste... sweet sour prawn battered and chicken prawn dumplings are the best...deep fried bannan ice cream and ice cream good too...orders were delivered quick...

Vickie’s best dumplings IMHO Who knew we had to travel all the way to Wonthagi to savour this exceptional rendition made fresh by an all-Chinese crew in an open kitchen. Available steamed or fried, our choice of chicken and prawn dumplings came the last of 3 dishes but proved the overwhelming best. Succulent fresh prawn and juicy chicken mince swimming in hot broth and wrapped in thin skin. Served bottom-up with a skilful char and flour webbing that makes this a delight to the eyes and tastebuds. A dozen of these bad boys for $15. Well worth the drive from Philly out through Kilcunda. Tackle with care and discover bliss with each bite. We did, and can’t wait to return for more!

Most authentic Chinese restaurant in Gippsland region. The dishes taste like what we have in China. Staff are friendly and inside the kitchen is very clean.

Been 3 times in the last week. Fantastic food. Great service
